AMANDA STRIDER, RCC
Registered Clinical Counsellor in Abbotsford, BC
Hi! I'm Amanda.

I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor offering online therapy for adults throughout British Columbia. I specialize in helping clients navigate ADHD, burnout, perfectionism, chronic pain, and life transitions. Based in Abbotsford, I provide virtual therapy across BC and in-person counselling at Eterna Counselling & Wellness.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a kinesiologist supporting people recovering from injury and living with chronic pain. That background shapes my work in the therapy space. I understand that your body and mind are in constant conversation, and real change happens when we listen to both.
You're here because something needs to change, you're ready to understand yourself better, or you're just tired of feeling stuck.
I get it. And I'm here to help.

HOW I WORK WITH CLIENTS
My approach is rooted in
compassion
Compassion at the heart of my therapeutic practice. It's the glue that binds the therapeutic relationship, fostering trust, acceptance, and genuine connection.
curiosity

Curiosity is more than just a desire to know. In therapy, curiosity encourages us to dig beneath the surface our experiences, uncovering hidden truths, patterns, and insights that can lead to profound breakthroughs.
collaboration

Therapy is a collaborative process. You are the expert in your lived experience and your input is an important part of our work together. My role is to walk beside you as a compassionate guide, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space for exploration.
